War Is Boring

Bagram is the largest U.S. military base in Afghanistan. Freelance journalist David Axe visited there late last year, where he looked at the medical facilities that treat wounded U.S. and coalition troops, as well as some Afghan civilians.

Freelance journalist David Axe was embedded with the U.S. Air Force at Bagram airbase near Kabul, Afghanistan. He talked to fighter pilots about their mission to provide close air support to U.S. troops on the ground.

Afghanistan’s Logar Province is a mostly agricultural region located south of the capital city of Kabul. Freelance Journalist David Axe was embedded there with the U.S. Army in October and November.
