Oklahoma Rep. Mike Reynolds, a Republican, introduced a bill to reinstate the anti-gay Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy for Oklahoma Guardsmen — a move that House Speaker Kris Steele promptly killed.
I just got back from a month in Afghanistan, part which I spent alongside the Oklahoma Guard’s 45th Brigade in Laghman Province. The brigade has been hit hard — 100 casualties including more than a dozen deaths. Soldiers talked about the dangers posed by the weather and by the Taliban and their deadly, improvised bombs.
Guess what never came up in conversation? Homosexuality. Because on the battlefield, nobody cares if you’re gay.
Steele did the right thing. And shame on you, Reynolds.

Mike Reynolds is not a U.S. Rep. He’s a state representative in the state legislature.
“No one cares…” Actually, its seems liberals care a great deal about gayness. Never quite understood the liberal obsession with men boofing each other, but oh well…
Right. Fixed.
I don’t know about others here, but my obsession with gayness has zero to do with liberalism.
Oh Robert, you cad.
